SHIBAURA MACHINE COMPANY, AMERICA APPOINTS ADAMS ENGINEERS

ADAMS to Sell Shibaura ECSXIII All-Electrics in TX, OK, AR and LA

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL January 23, 2024 – Shibaura Machine Company, America is pleased to announce the appointment of ADAMS Engineers and Equipment, Inc. as their new rep agency serving customers in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Effective immediately, ADAMS will sell the full line of Shibaura EC-SXIII all-electric injection molding machines ranging from 33 to 3,350 tons.

    “We’re very excited to partner with ADAMS,” said Chuck Gorman, National Sales Manager and Deputy General Manager, Injection Molding Division, Shibaura Machine Company, America. “They not only have a great understanding of our technology but are committed to providing molders with training and value-added services, which are key to helping us grow business in this market,” he said.

    This marks the second time that ADAMS will be marketing Shibaura injection molding machines, previously selling them under the Toshiba Machine name (Toshiba Machine changed its corporate name to Shibaura Machine in 2020). “We’re thrilled to be back with Shibaura,” said ADAMS Engineers President Cliff Adams, who founded the company in 1991. “They’re well-known for providing high-efficiency all-electric injection molding machines and backing them up with unparalleled service and support. And unlike competitive machines that require 26-week lead times, Shibaura injection molding systems are readily available, for faster delivery to customers,” he added.

    Based in Jacksonville, TX, ADAMS is a team of engineers with expertise in plastic processing and advanced technology equipment. As the company has grown, they’ve expanded their product offering to include plant-wide systems, auxiliary equipment, industrial 3D printing and customer training. Led by the ADAMS Engineers and Equipment, Inc. manufacturer partners, training sessions enable the next generation of molders to gain processing knowledge and acquire hands-on experience using Shibaura injection molding machines and other innovative technologies. “Our focus on training has set us apart from the competition and is a key strategy for growing business,” said Adams.
