Sound Attenuated, Application Versatility, and Easy Access. Cumberland's new A Series 1000X Granulators are designed for efficient beside-the-press regrind of reject components from injection molding, blow molding and extrusion processes. The A Series granulator has cutting chamber sizes of 10" x 12" (254mm x 304.8mm) and 10" x 18" (254mm x 457.2mm) The standard motor size is 5hp TEFC Standard.

The 3-knife open slant-cut rotor with scooped wings provides for both positive feeding of bulky parts and improved airflow for cooler operation. The 1200X Series features a rotating end disc to reduce heat and abrasion.

With a horse-power range from 20 to 40 HP, and throughput capabilities to handle the most demanding injection molding, blow molding and extrusion requirements. The A Series 1600X beside-the press granulators have cutting chamber sizes of 16" x 20".
2000 Series Central Granulator 2000 Series Central Granulator
Featuring twin shear knife configuration to increase cutting efficiency, the 2000 Series granulators offer throughputs from 1800 lbs./hr up to 2600 lbs./hr. The granulators are easy to maintain, with a drop-down screen cradle and hydraulic tilt mechanism on the infeed hopper for quick and easy access to the cutting chamber and rotor. The 2000 Series low feed height and large widths are ideal for thermoforming, and a variety of infeed, discharge, and rotor options provide added flexibility for almost any application.

The 3200 covers a wide range of applications including heavy extruder purgings, blow molded flashings, thick sheet, pipe, large blow-molded parts (automotive, appliance, furniture, profiles), X-ray films, packaging films and large-capacity post-consumer products. Ranging in horsepower from 200 hp to 400hp, and with throughout capacities from 6,000 to 12,000 lbs.-hr., Cumberland's 3200 Series Granulators offer heavy-duty design and high capacity granulating for all your demanding applications.

B Series Granulator - Heavy Duty B Series Granulator - Heavy Duty
Designed for heavy duty, high capacity central granulation systems. Ideally suited for applications including heavy extruded purgings, sheet, pipe scrap, X-Ray film, post consumer bailed bottles, film and fibers. The B Series comes in 37" and 50" widths, cutting circle diameter of 18", horsepower options from 100 thru 200 hp, and through puts on the B Series range from 2500-4000 lbs/hr. The B Series is designed for years of rugged use combining it's bolted and doweled heavy steel construction with Cumberland's "Chevron" rotor style for years of worry free production.
C Series Granulator C Series Granulator
Designed for heavy duty, high capacity granulation. Ideally suited for applications including heavy purgings, sheet, pipe scrap, X-ray film, post consumer bailed bottles, film and fibers. The C Series comes in 40" (1000mm) and 56" (1400mm) widths, cutting circle diameter of 18", and horsepower options from 100 thru 200 hp.
CT500 Series Central CT500 Series Central
CT500 Series offers superior quality and performance with ease of accessibility. A safety interlocked, rear access, hopper door provides hasselfree cleanout and inspection, while the front hopper access door completely opens up for quick and easy maintenance with minimal downtime. Available in 3-and 5- knife rotors, with high shear or steep angle rotors, the CT500 series encompasses the design elements for the widest variety of application needs. A side mount motor design permits drive motor to be right-hand or left-hand positioned and completely opens rear service area for maintenance and cleanout.
H Series Granulator - Heavy Duty H Series Granulator - Heavy Duty
Special versions of the Central Granulators are offered to our clients for the reclaimation of polymers in their heaviest and worst forms. The H Series units were developed over many years, to perfect the process of reclaiming purgings, patties, and the extremely heavy cross section material forms. These units feature massive, solid rotors with special staggered knife arrangements, and horsepowers of 200 or more, to nibble and tear at these massive chunks of polymer. The goal of these units is to yield final granulate in a typical range of 0.25 to 0.375 inch, at very high rates.
X Series Central Granulator X Series Central Granulator
X Series is one of the most versatile central granulators available. Ideally suited for applications including large injection molded parts, blow molded parts, automotive moldings, light purgings, furniture and appliance parts, etc. The X Series comes in 27" (700mm), 39" (1000mm), and 55" (1400mm) widths, cutting circle diameter of 24", and horsepower options from 50 thru 150 hp with throughput rates ranging from 1800 to 6000 lbs/hr. It features low-heat granulation made possible through its unique rotor and cutting chamber design that prevents polymer "melt-down" and virtually eliminates "endplate smearing". This is accomplished by combining the Twinshear rotor design with rotating end discs.
